Aurora, Falcons, and Tundra Join The Top 8 At PGL Wallachia S3
The Swiss Stage of PGL Wallachia Season 3 has ended. Eight teams were sent home, while the remaining eight advanced to the Playoffs.
Tundra Esports and Team Falcons, two of the top teams at this event, have been looking shaky in Romania. However, as expected, both teams could win their elimination series in the 2 - 2 pool to advance to the Playoffs with relative ease.
The new composition of Aurora also scraped past the Swiss Stage after taking down Yellow Submarine, though the second game of the series wasn’t too comfortable. It is also worth noting that the Aurora squad is currently playing without a coach. The organization’s CEO, who is also 2,000 MMR, is acting as the team’s current coach.
Yesterday, both Chinese representatives, Team Tidebound and Xtreme Gaming took huge victories to also qualify for the Playoffs. With all of these results, the final standings of the Swiss Stage are as follows:
All eight teams have been seeded into the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, meaning all of them will have two lives. The first round matchups have already been announced:
