Down To Four At DreamLeague S24 – Tiebreaker Between Spirit and PARIVISION Pending
After two weeks of Group Stage matches, we have finally reached the Playoffs stage at DreamLeague Season 24, where only four out of 16 teams remain.
The BetBoom Team popped off in the second Group Stage, going 6-1, only dropping three maps to end with a 12-3 map record. This result means the BetBoom Team would start their Playoffs run in the Upper Bracket. The only team to defeat them was Tundra Esports who handed them a 0-2 loss.
Team Spirit took on Team Falcons in their final match of the Group Stage, with the former taking the win after a 2-1 victory. Though both teams have guaranteed their positions in the Playoffs, Team Spirit ended up with five wins, tied with PARIVISION, while Team Falcons barely scraped by with four.
This meant there would be a tiebreaker between Team Spirit and PARIVISION for the final Upper Bracket slot. The match will be played in a Best of 3 format, with the winner advancing to the Upper Bracket, while the loser starts in the Lower Bracket against Team Falcons.
The long DreamLeague Season 24 tournament will conclude in the 10th of October, and will likely be played on the new patch that just dropped.
