DPC Summer Tour participants don't use 4 heroes
DPC Summer Tour is in full swing. Just yesterday, the third week of competitions began, and you can already see what meta is forming.
So far, teams have completed 305 maps, during which only 4 characters weren't drafted: Axe, Riki, Tinker, and Meepo. These heroes never made it to either bans or team peaks. Recall that the Dota 2 client has a total of 116 unique heroes.
Also, we have collected statistics on heroes' drafts in each of the 6 regions. It turns out that the widest meta is in Europe, where teams have already used 108 heroes. The situation in other regions is as follows:
- China — 101 heroes;
- South America — 98 heroes;
- North America — 97 heroes;
- Southeast Asia — 97 heroes;
- EEU — 97 heroes.
DPC Summer Tour runs from June 6 to July 17. Teams from the Upper Divisions compete for prizes of $205,000, 920 DPC points, and invitations to the PGL Arlington Major. And teams from the Lower Divisions play for the $75,000 per region and places in the Upper Divisions.
