The Romanian capital, Bucharest, has become one of the cities where new coronavirus restrictions have been introduced. Since August, the country has seen COVID-19 infections increase: over 5,000 cases were reported yesterday.
According to Romanian journalists, Bucharest falls in a red code scenario which entails several restrictions:
- Masks are mandatory in public (open) spaces.
- Restaurants, bars, malls, cinemas will operate at 50% capacity, and the entrance will be made based on the COVID-19 vaccine certificate.
- The COVID certificate will most likely be needed to gain access to any enclosed spaces.
In 2 weeks, from October 7 to 17, The International 10 will start in Bucharest. Yesterday, Valve started selling tickets to this event. The key condition for attending the event is a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
