Overview of teams ranking changes on August 17
A weekly update of the professional Dota 2 teams' ranking has released on the website. Last week, in Europe, Omega League Europe: Immortal Division finally started with a total prize pool of $500,000. Also, in the American region, ESL ONE Thailand 2020 Online: Americas began
Despite the start of major tournaments, there were only minor changes in the ranking. The main ones happened due to the matches held between teams because not a single major tournament ended last week.
But even with it in mind, there were changes in the Top-10: ??Alliance and ??Virtus Pro were able to move up two positions. In the Top-20, ??Vikin.gg and ??OG moved up 4 and 5 positions, respectively.
Most of the Chinese and Asian teams that are on vacation have continued to lose points.
We expect more significant changes in the ranking next week. OMEGA League Asia: Divine, a tournament for Chinese and Asian teams, will end on August 22. According to its results, many teams can rise in the ranking. Also, on August 20, there will begin the second game week of Omega League Europe: Immortal Division.
