Reality Rift disbands their Dota 2 roster
CEO of the club, Ilya Vlasov, announced on Twitter that ??Reality Rift is disbanding the Dota 2 roster.
He explained this decision by the unprofitability of keeping the team in the current conditions. Valve is not helping the development of the Dota 2 Esports scene in any way. Also, this decision was influenced by the inability to properly monetize the team and difficulties with the organization's main activity, the network of computer clubs in the Asian region, complicated by the outbreak of the pandemic.
He noted that ??NutZ and ??kyXy left the team as free agents, while ??Hustla and ??Alacrity remained on the contract, and the team will discuss their sale.
??Reality Rift was founded in June 2019, and during its existence, it managed to earn $30,000 in prize money.
