Standings in all regions after the DPC Week 5

The penultimate week of Dota Pro Circuit Regional Leagues is over. In many regions, the fate of some tickets to the Major has already been decided, but the final standings will become known only this week. We have prepared an overview of the current standings of the teams from the Upper Divisions.

Europe

Several important matches ended in the region last week. Firstly, Team Secret beat Team Liquid and retained the chance to finish the league in the top four and go to the second Major of the year. Secondly, OG lost 0:2 to Nigma, making it much more difficult to get to the Major.

In addition to the sensations, Alliance has guaranteed itself first place in the league ahead of schedule and will go to the Major's playoffs. And the Hellbear Smashers have taken the last place ahead of schedule and will leave the league next season if the regional league rules remain the same.

China

At the end of the fifth week, uncertainty remains in China. At the moment, we can only say that Sparking Arrow Gaming is in the last place in the league. The fate of all other positions is currently unknown. The last 4 matches will decide how many tie-breaks will happen in that region.

CIS

Unlike the two previous regions, we have already known the first two places in the CIS — Virtus Pro and Team Spirit. The fate of third place and the last ticket to the Major will be decided last week. It can go to Natus Vincere, AS Monaco Gambit, or Team Unique. So, we may have tie-breaks.

South Asia

At the moment, three teams at once, TNC Predator, T1, and Fnatic, come with 4-2 stats. Four more teams, OB Esports x Neon, Execration, Boom Esports, Omega Gaming, have stats of 3-3 and 3-4, which, in theory, retained their chances of tie-breaks. And only the Lilgun team with 1-5 stats lost all chances of continuing the play, which means they will leave the Upper Division.

North America

In North America, the situation of the first season repeats. If Quincy Crew loses its last match, against Undying, there will be triple tie-breaks for 1st and 2nd places in the league. On the other hand, Undying could lose this match and most likely remain the main favorite in the region in the upcoming qualifiers for The International 10. At the same time, Evil Geniuses and Quincy Crew already guarantee their place in the year's main event.

South America

At the moment, an extremely intriguing situation is developing in the region. NoPing has 100% guaranteed a spot in the Major. The second-placed beastcoast will have tie-breaks against Thunder Predator and Infamous if they are defeated in the last match. And anything can happen there.
