Team Secret and OG are involved in a crypto-scammer scandal
Reddit user vynx1 published a post about the scam company DMScript. Two Esports organizations, Team Secret and OG, announced a partnership with the service. OG began working with DMScript in October 2020 and Team Secret in May 2021.
According to vynx1's post, DMScript initially positioned itself as a blockchain platform with its own cryptocurrency. Plans were to create a cloud gaming service, a video game store, a virtual wallet, a P2P gambling service, and more. But in the end, they didn't do anything of the above.
In early 2021, DMScript's capitalization ranged from $18 million to $24 million but later fell, and the service reported a hack. Users didn't receive the promised compensation. Then, the organizers deleted personal information and closed social media profiles.
At the moment, Team Secret has removed DMScript from the list of partners, but the OG website still has information about the organization.
